Hey, just saw your message. It is now 9 days after the race and I still limp. I lost just about all the skin on my left heel. Something wrong with your feet being stuck in cold, wet skates for over 7 hours! It was the most incredible thing I have ever done. 52 weeks 'til next year! I put my skates on last Friday for about a 2 mile roll, my foot hurt like hell, but, it felt great! I am still high from the race. My support van got stuck servicing my two compatriots (55 and 68 miles), and I didn't see him from mile 37 until 30min after finish. But, I might had quit had he been around miles 55-75! I was impressed by the attitudes of the other skaters and the other support crews...everyone was helping everyone else to cross the finish line. It was awesome! Well, gotta roll.
